The course is suitable for artists of all levels, from beginners to advanced, and covers a wide range of topics and techniques.

Whether you are an aspiring artist or a seasoned professional, this course is an excellent resource for improving your skills and taking your art to the next level.

Greetings! I’m Robert A. Marzullo, your instructor for the course “Figure Drawing – The Body in Action!” I’ve been teaching online for six years and I’m passionate about helping artists enhance their skills. I’ve authored the book “Learn to Draw Action Heroes” as well.

My aim is to assist you in developing a solid foundation in figure drawing that will stick with you for a long time. Rather than just following along and memorizing by observation, you’ll gain an understanding of why the body moves and reacts in certain ways.

Throughout the course, you’ll learn about the body’s gestures and rhythms, stereometric drawing, balance, body language, bony landmarks, anatomy, foreshortening, and light and shadow. We’ll also focus on specific areas that frequently hinder artists from drawing the human figure accurately.
