Description
We will implement a Mastermind Board Game in ReactJS.What you will learn:Create a react project on your MAC ComputerStart a react projectCreate a react componentStyling with CSS and flexUse React Hooks like useState() and useRef()Drag & Drop in ReactJSHide and Show areas of the web pageUser interaction in react like mouse click, mouse move, mouse hover and drag and dropImplement a board game logic in reactThink in grids when you design your UIYou will have access to the entire code at the end of the class and can use it for whatever you want.In the first part the introduction we will talk about the tech setup, how to access the code, the project structure, the board game, the game rules and some UI aspects.In the second part we do the coding, it is divided in coding blocks. Each coding block is focusing on a certain aspect of the code base. The coding blocks needs to be executed in the given order.At the end of the coding blocks we will discuss code improvement suggestions, and ideas how the game could be extend by adding new features, for example multiple player version of the game. We also talk about options for feedback
