You will learn to create characters, objects, and locations for computer or tabletop games, comics, or animations. The instructor will teach you how to tell a story through the elements of costumes, the features of architecture, and the character of everyday objects.

You will learn the basics of working with lines: you will master their expressive qualities and be able to use them to create detailed and richly textured illustrations. You will also learn about the nuances of choosing materials and tools for line art.

Overall, the intensive consists of 6 hours of practice and seven lectures. The instructor will explain creating a cohesive, logical, and readable world for comics, animations, tabletop games, and more. Throughout the learning process, you will also complete homework assignments and receive feedback from the instructor. The course result will be a small concept project on a topic of your choice, consisting of drawings of characters, objects, and locations.
