Create the stationery and packaging for a brand in an artisanal manner In this course, the designer Elena Sancho (Tatabi Studio), will teach you to create all the stationery of a fashion brand using artisan resources and a very careful aesthetics. From the search for the personality of the brand until all the material is ready to go, Elena will show you a lot of interesting materials and incredible handmade techniques that you can then apply to a commission or to your own brand. You will design the cards, the packaging and the catalog, creating a unique identity, by hand and made to measure, and best of all: you will have a great time. So, give the computer a break because here you will touch it a little. Up the handmade!

What will you learn in this online course? Throughout the course, Elena will help you analyze the personality of a brand and you will see the different graphic variables that intervene in the creative process of identity: Colors, typographies … You will design a logo for a brand you choose and all the stationery : You will create the business cards in an artisan way, you will produce a packaging learning to use the technique of screen printing and you will elaborate a product catalog. You will see different forms of binding and expand knowledge in editorial design.

In addition, you will know how to use and where to get all the materials, the most interesting “pots” and the coolest techniques to apply to the graphic pieces. Oh, and the final moral: You will discover that incredible results can be obtained by combining the computer with completely handmade techniques.

Requirements and materials For this branding course you will need (though little) a computer and basic knowledge of Illustrator and Indesign. Regarding the materials, Elena will use scissors, stamping machines, sealing stamps, all kinds of papers, manual screen printing machine, colored threads … But you can use the ones you like. The most important thing is to have the desire to look for cool materials that suit your brand.
