Everything I learnt about Environment Art – Mini Series – Learning Blender: Game Ready Asset。The tutorial is focused on creating hard surface models in Blender. For this tutorial specifically, it’s about understanding the game asset pipeline, starting with gathering reference and blocking out our model, modelling the mechanical arm, creating a game mesh with UVs, textures and exporting to Unreal. The tutorial is broken down into chapters. You can see the chapters, details and runtime below. Chapter 1 – Introduction, Ref Gather, Collection Instances, Blockout – 57m Chapter 2 – Modelling – Base, Bottom Arm, Middle Arm, Hand, Creating Game-ready mesh – 3h 17m Chapter 3 – UV Fundamentals, Uvs, Packing – 37m Chapter 4 – Baking, Texturing, Adding Decals – 1h 23m Chapter 5 – Render, Import into Unreal – 30m Total run time – 6h 43m The tutorial is specifically designed for beginners and intermediate artists new to Blender and is conducted in real-time.
